School supply drive
We are collecting school supplies for needy students in the North Syracuse Schools. Please bring your donations to the church and we will do the rest! The donation bin is located in the narthex. Let’s fill it up!!
Needed items include: pens, pencils, markers, crayons, glue sticks, folders, highlighters, and even backpacks.

Please have all donations to the church by Sunday, August 27th. Thank you as always for supporting those in need within our community!
Serving at the Samaritan Center
& the Basic Needs Closet
Remember to mark this date on your calendar! We will be serving at the Samaritan Center on Sunday, November 12th from 12:30 – 3:00 pm. We will need 15 volunteers to help serve the meals.
The Samaritan Center's Basic Needs Closet is open on Tuesdays at breakfast and Thursdays at dinner. The everyday essentials provided in the closet help their guests feel confident and dignified. Guests are welcome to come and select five items they need. If you would like to donate any of these items, please bring them to church, labeled for the “Samaritan Center” and we will make arrangements to have the items dropped off.

Supplying the Bridgeport Food Pantry
Project Name

Northminster continues to partner with St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Bridgeport with their food pantry as they serve the Northern Onondaga County area. The pantry has advised that our church is the largest donor to the food pantry other than the Food Bank of CNY. Thank you to all our members and friends who continue to provide food for the pantry!
If you would like to donate any food item (canned foods, boxed pastas/rice, cereal, etc.), please bring them to church and we will make sure that they are delivered to the Food Pantry.
Sleep in Heavenly Peace
Sleep in Heavenly Peace – The local chapter in Syracuse has a group of volunteers dedicated to building, assembling and delivering beds to children (ages 3-17) in need in the greater Syracuse and Oswego City area. They believe in sharing the need with the community and then providing ways for the community to help meet that need. They are locally all volunteer and since the first delivery on October 6th, 2018, they have delivered over 3,500 beds and counting. Our members, Anne Jones and Kimball Clark have been volunteering with this organization.
If you would like more information or would like to volunteer with Anne and Kimball, please feel free to contact Anne directly at jonesae56@gmail.com.
The organization also has the following Wishlists, if you would like to make a donation directly to them, please click any of the following links.
