About Northminster Presbyterian Church
Our Mission Statement
Northminster Presbyterian Church is a family of faith, nurturing our community through the mission, compassion, and love of Christ, welcoming all with open arms.

Our People
Most of our church members live nearby, although we do have some folks with a 30 minute commute. They have a variety of professional backgrounds and personal experiences, which is reflected in their diverse theological views, though we are united in wanting to serve our community and the area around us as a large part of our calling. We want people to know their worth, know that God loves them, and know that they have a place here and in God's kingdom.
Our Pastor
Reverend Karen E. Dimon grew up in Fayetteville. She received her bachelor’s degree from Hope College in Holland, Michigan, and her master’s degree from United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities. Pastor Karen served as Associate Executive for the Synod of Lakes and Prairies in the area of Social Justice and Women's Ministries, serve as the Associate Pastor for Young Adult and New Member Ministries at Central Presbyterian Church in St. Paul, Minnesota, and served on the staff of General Assembly. She has served as a pastor for a number of local churches, even outside of the denomination. Pastor Karen has been lovingly serving Northminster for 25 years. Our Denomination
Our church is a part of the mainline Protestant denomination called Presbyterian Church USA (PCUSA). PCUSA is a theologically liberal denomination that believes in the sovereignty of God, the authority of Scripture, justification by grace through faith, and the priesthood of all believers.
